My favorite things to photograph in the studio!
Flowers and cake ♥ My favorite things to photograph in the studio.
This time I wanted to give the photo visual interest by using the mirror.
For the shots with the mirror, I used my c-stand to hang the mirror, and the wooden backgroun was hung using a clothing rack.
I’m so looking forward to using mirrors again in my projects!
The flatlays were shot on a vinyl backdrop from Errer.com
The photos are personal, you can see me and one of my brothers in one, and in the other my grandfather that I unfortunately never met. He looks just like my dad. That baby is me ♥
I did make it to Trompenburg, in fact I stayed too long. I lost track of time in the ‘voedsel bos’ which is the editable forest part of the garden. I returned to the main garden and noticed it was extremely quiet, even for Trompenburg. I had overstayed my visit by almost 20 minutes. I felt so bad! Luckily nobody appeared to be held up by me, and I could get out the gate still. Next time I’m sitting an alarm. In all honesty it felt wonderful to loose track of time, but it isn’t nice for the staff, so I’ll be avoiding that mistake again.
Here are some of the flowers from the day, the blossoms. The rest will be available soon.
As always these photos are available for free under the Unsplash & Pexels licenses. Pexels has video as well as a wider selection of photos from the session.
