hello, I'm Micheile

A photographer and videographer based in  Rotterdam, in The Netherlands. I studied visual presentation at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in San Francisco. My studies helped shaped my work. Every project I take on is handled entirely by me, from concept and styling through to the final edit.

Studio photography

My work is rooted in the still life studio, a space where I have full control over every element in the frame. Light, surface, texture, colour, composition —nothing is left to chance.

Working in a studio means I can build a mood from scratch. Every shoot is styled and shot by me, and edited to sit within a visual world that feels cohesive and considered. The images are designed to be versatile enough for commercial use without losing what makes them interesting.

Outdoor locations

Not everything belongs in a studio. Some work calls for the texture and unpredictability of the outside world. Natural light, organic surfaces, the kind of atmosphere you can't manufacture under a softbox. I photography on location to bring a different dimension to the work, where the environment becomes part of the story rather than just a backdrop.

The same attention to styling and composition travels with me. Whether it’s an urban setting or something more natural, the images stay rooted in the same visual language. Considered, intentional, and unmistakably mine.
